She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Tapocsi and Ann Tapocsi (Yurko); her sons, Richard Jay Lowenstine and Christopher Blake Lowenstine; and her nephew Mikey Tapocsi.
She is survived by: her son John Lowenstine of Cedar Lake; her brother James Tapocsi (Sue); her grandchildren, Amy Smith and Aaron Vagelatos (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Kara, Nathan, Noah Vagelatos and Caelyn Belle Rust; and her sibling's children, David and Leanne.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of NWI (https://www.vnanwi.org) or St. Paul Catholic Church, Valparaiso.
