He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Wiegand and Lena Hodel Wiegand; and his brother James Wiegand. He is survived by : his brothers, John Wiegand (Mary) of Roanoke and Roger Wiegand (Kathy) of Gridley; and his nieces and nephews, Bethany Boucher (Nate), Emily Neal (Derek), Ashley Wiegand (Calla Massman), Nicole Drayer (Todd), Justin Wiegand (Kirsten), Brandon Wiegand (Tess) and Brock Wiegand (Auburn). He is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home (204 W Husseman St, Roanoke, IL 61561). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
