He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hines and Rosemary Hines (Ely); his son Rodney Scott Hines; and his sisters, Gladys, Peggy and Myra "Babe".
He is survived by: his children, Edgar Hines (Christine) of Valparaiso, Terry Hines (Debbie) of Valparaiso, Paul Hines (Sherry) of Valparaiso and Jack Hines of Valparaiso; his grandchildren, Leah (Leo), Josh (Mindy), Shanna, Terry Jr., Katie (Mike), Ashley (Brandon), Addie (Sam), Chase, Matthew, Eric, Will and Matt; his great grandchildren, Evan, Chelsea, Jake, Cora, Ronnie, Cooper and Eloise; his great great grandchildren, Henry and Tobin; his sister Carol Wallace (Larry); and his cousin Roger Ehlers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
