He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Stepanovich and AnneMarie Stepanovich (Wietholter); and his brother Peter Stepanovich. He is survived by: his wife Rose Fletcher; his children, Jason, Dana and Amy Stepanovich; his stepchildren, Jason Gardner (Becky), Sharon Mashburn (Ronald), Danny Gardner (Kayte), Carolyn Mannarelli (Vincent) and Bobby Flora; and his brother Mitchell Stepanovich. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
