He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Eugene and Amy Jean Gilliland (Clark); and his stepson Paul Fabian. He is survived by: his wife Carole Fabian (Humenick); his children, Jason Gilliland (Amber) and Megan Kaufman; the mother of his children Susan Bonner; his stepson David Fabian; his grandchildren, Alexander Powell, Colton Kaufman, Liam, Ava Gilliland, Nick (Ally), Matthew and Maya Fabian; his great grandchild Olivia Fabian; and his sister Beth Littmann (Jeffrey).
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
