He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Nicholson and Ruth Nicholson (Edquist); his daughter Ann Kathryn Nicholson; his siblings, Richard Nicholson (Barbara) and Betty Lindenmeyer; and his brother-in-law Gary Tressler.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Wentland; his sons, David (Terri) and Eric Nicholson (Courtney); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Ryan, Kathryn Nicholson and Jessica Sandvold (Cory); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Kennedy, Chelsie and Rylie; his sisters, Christine Tressler and Dorothy Kasten (Jeri); and his brother-in-law Jack Lindenmeyer. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Ann Nicholson Memorial Scholarship Fund for Morgan Township High School through the Porter County Community Foundation.
