He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Hall; his children, Cheryl Altman (Matthew) of Frisco, NC, Rebecca Bosquez (Frankie) of Terre Haute, IN and Jeremie Oelling (Elise) of Valparaiso, IN; his grandchildren, Jolie, Logan, Gretchen Altman, Trynity, Reegen DesArmo, Taelynn and Kiana Oelling; his great grandchildren, Levi, Mya and Gracie; his siblings, Nancy Jorgensen (Larry) and Joe Oelling (Jan); and his sister-in-law Deb Oelling.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ron's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
