He was predeceased by: his parents, Paris Harbison and Sylvia Harbison (Behrman); his wife Katherine Harbison; his children, Ramona Busch and William Harbison II; his daughter-in-law Deanna Harbison; and his sisters, Imogene and Laverne.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Harbison and Vincent Harbison (Pamela); and his grandsons, Garth Harbison (Diana), Nathaniel Harbison, Joshua Busch (Leah) and Matthew Busch. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
