He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Abel and Virginia Abel (Mead). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughters, Christa Abel (Garrett Lechowski) of Massachusetts and Tamara Wagner (Jeff) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Grant and Zoe Wagner; and his sister Karen Pfister of Elkhart. He is also survived by 2 stepchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.
