Larry E. Green Obituary
The passing of Larry E. Green of Van Buren, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Green and Vivian "Isabelle" Green (Endicott); his wife Elsie Mae (Cunningham); his daughter Connie Sue Greenwalt; and his siblings, Richard A. "Dick" Green and Sara S. O'Neil.
He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Chapman of Marion, Indiana.; his sons, Ed Green (Patti) of Livonia and Mark Green (Sharon) of Huntington, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Eric Green of Livonia, Laura Green of Knoxville, Zachary Green (Mandy Gearhart) of Huntington, Alex (Ryan Beeching) of Andrews and Samantha (Branden Holder) of Noblesville; and his sister-in-law Sandra Green of Syracuse, IN.. He is also survived by ten great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Farrville Community Church (11044 E 200 N, Marion, IN 46952). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
He was able to have his last wishes fulfilled by donating his body to IU School of Medicine, where he will help current students further their education. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Farrville Community Church, 11044 E 200 N, Marion, IN 46952, or to the Christian Motorcyclists Association – Run for the Son, P.O. Box 9, Hatfield, AR 71945.
