She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harvey and Edna Lucille Barton (Ray); her husband Billy Birge; her daughter Trixie Carter; and her sister Clara Jane "Janie".
She is survived by: her son William Birge (Cheryl) of Cates; her grandchildren, Carmine Birge of Lafayette, Shane Birge (Jessica) of Hillsboro and Megan Gaylor of Lafayette; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Zavior, Pamela, Jasmine, William, Thomas and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Evelyn Swank of Crawfordsville, Harvey Barton (Carol) of Crawfordsville and Joe Barton (Sharon) of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
