She was predeceased by : her parents, Etta Mae Watkins (Branum) and John Watkins; her daughter Jennifer Sue Symons; and her siblings, David Watkins, John Watkins and Shirley Jean Campfield.

She is survived by : her husband Ronald "Red Ear" Perkinson of Vernon; her son Brian J. Symons (Dana Delameter) of North Vernon; her siblings, Everett Watkins of Columbus, Freddie Watkins of Ohio, Edward Watkins of Florida, Cathy Andry of Columbus, Glenna Lilly of North Vernon and Peggy Stewart of Madison; and her grandchildren, Lane Alexander Lauderbaugh, Luke Thomas Lauderbaugh and Landon Symons.

Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to the Jennings County Historical Society.
