Norma Sallee Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Norma Sallee of Vernon, Indiana. Norma, born on December 29, 1925, passed away on June 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arrus and Mary F. Peyton (Stacy); her husband James Milburn Sallee; her children, Garry Sallee and Doris Lynn Chamlee; and her siblings, Rollan, Dolan, Kenneth, Cortis, Garrett, Gordon Peyton and Jean Stamper.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Sallee (Linda) of Palmyra and Mary Kay Cummings (Dennis) of North Vernon; her daughter-in-law Cindy Salle; her sisters, Lavene Hedger of Florida and Ella Mae Ramsey of Florida; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Aaron) of Orlando, Desiree Cummings of North Vernon, Denise Leonard of North Vernon, Damin Cummings of Indianapolis, Aaron Smith of Seymour and Melissa Moore of Indiana. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
