Though James Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester W. Bloemker and Dorothy Bloemker (Leng); and his siblings, Carrie Bloemker and Thomas Bloemker. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Bloemker (Winchester); and his children, Jeff Bloemker, Lisa Adkinson (Doug Brush) and Lori McNeelan (David). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Marion Fire Department or the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
