It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Clinton Hon of Versailles, Indiana, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Allen Hon (Ellis) and Luther Martin Hon; his siblings, Joe Elmer Hon, Nelson Lee Hon, Luther Martin Hon, Jr., Louis Martin Hon, James William Hon, Maurice Edward Hon, Russell Ray Hon, Helen Louise Smitha and Hazel Marie Hunt; his aunt Deliliah Rice; his parents-in-law, Calvis and Eliza Detraz Weller (Rice); and his siblings-in-law, Ruth, Paul Higbie, Mary and Ova Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline B. Hon (Weller) of Versailles, IN; his children, Anthony Clinton Hon (Suzanne) of New Alsace, IN, Todd Alan Hon (Sandy) of West Harrison, IN and Lisa Renee Costello (James) of New Washington, IN; his grandchildren, Bryan, Stacy, Kelly, Jamie, Jessica, Colton, Abby, Ashly and Alex; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Sawyer, Carter, Teagan, Blake, Hunter, Quinten, Luke, Hadlie, Hazel and Raynie; and his great great grandchildren, Blakelynn, Oaklynn and Ella. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
