She is survived by: her children, Chad Carpenter and Brandi Witkemper; her grandchildren, Jaycob Schmidt and Hayden Carpenter; and her siblings, Harold Powell, Vincent Powell and Myrtle Ann Redd.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Community Wesleyan Church in Holton or the Ripley County Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.
