We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Galena Faye Moore of Vevay, Indiana, born in Williamsburg, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Lee Moore (Jones) and John William Moore; her son Johnny Sellers; her grandson Daniel Sellers Henges; and her siblings, Nola Vest, Mary Hollars, Zora Dyas, Barbara Goins, Anna Mae Peace, Lorraine Moore, Roy Moore and Jesse Bill "JB" Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Richard F. Abel of Vevay, IN; her children, Lela Sellers (Justice Munoz) of Cincinnati, OH and Bobby Sellers (Linda Harrison) of Hamilton, OH; her grandchildren, Lorraine (James), Joshua, Hailey, Caleb, Austin and Destiny; her great grandchild Kyrie; and her siblings, Julia Elizabeth "Liz" Bailey and James Franklin Moore (Sharon). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home (208 Ferry St, Vevay, IN 47043). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
