It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Douglas Watson of Vevay, Indiana, born in Moss, Tennessee, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Watson and Avie Short Watson; his wife Linda Kay Fredrick Watson; his daughter Juanita Kay Watson; and his sisters, Wanda Cherry, Thelma Watson and Francis Lancaster.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Watson (Julie Harris) of Greenwood, Tracey Watson (Angela) of Fairland, David Watson (Patricia) of Vevay, Indiana and Melinda Thurman of Vevay, Indiana; and his sisters, Anna Biles of Moss and Loretta Yeagley of Lafayette, Indiana. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
