Mary Jo (Shadday) Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 91, Mary Jo (Shadday) Brown of Vevay, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian H. Shadday and Jeanette Shadday (Konkle); her husband Nelson "Wayne" Brown; her daughter Linda D. "Winnie" Wilson (Peelman); her son-in-law Vernon "Collin" Pruitt; her great grandchild Colton Keith Penick; and her siblings, Deloris Shadday, Freda M. Coy (Bonnie Vernon), Robert Earl Shadday, Dwight H. Shadday and William D. "Bill" Shadday.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Johnson (Lowell) of Greenwood, IN and Andrea "Andi" Hallett of Morgantown, IN; her granddaughters, April Mahoney (Brian), Stacey Lynn Penick (Trevis), Alyssa Hallett and Toni Hiers; her great grandchildren, Meagan Kilborn (Zack), Brad Wilson (Josie), Stephanie Mahoney, Keith Mahoney, Emily Hallett, Kaylee Hallett, Lilly King, Colin Grumley, Keira Hendrickson and Fionna Grumley; and her great great grandchildren, Masen Kilborn, Zaiden Kilborn, Zoe Wilson, Braedon King, Braelon King and Addison King. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
