She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Tapp and Mary Etta Tapp (Earls); her husband Clarence "Buster" Chase, Jr.; her grandsons, Dylan James Chase and Jason Tyler Chase; her son-in-law Charlie Peters; her siblings, Harry R. Tapp, Harold Vernon Tapp and Ella May Edwards; her sister-in-law Beulah Tapp; her nephew Walter Burke; her nieces, Pamela Sue Howard and Mary Ann Strout; her great-nephew Brandon Michael Burke Pike; and her pet Fuzzy.

She is survived by: her children, Dianna South (Jerry) of Vevay, IN, Vicki Peters of Vevay, IN, Mark Chase (Shirlee) of Independence, KY and Jason Chase (Jamie) of East Enterprise, IN; her grandchildren, Chris Peters (Chasity), Cody Peters (Amber Johnson), Katie Ricketts (Brett), Kelsi Robinson (Chad), Allen Michael Chase (Jennifer), Blaze Chase (Olivia) and Brett Chase; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Leo, Milo Ricketts, Oliver, Willa Robinson, Casyn, Caelynn Peters, Lincoln, Kinsley Peters, Teagan, Henry Chase, Autumn, Ivy and Marshall Chase; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Chase of Florence, IN and Jesse Dale Edwards of Vevay, IN. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
