He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra Sue "Debbie" Hoyt; his parents, Clinton Earl Scott, Sr. and Carrie Leo Scott (Romans); his siblings, Nelson Wayne Scott, Clinton "Scotty" Scott, Jr., Patricia Ann "Patsey" Scudder, Carolyn Lou Stevenson and Aldean Jividen; his siblings-in-law, Lucille N. Scott (Knaus), Leslie "Lee" Scudder and Loren Lee Jividen; his nephew Private Timothy G. Scudder; and his nieces, Susan Lynn Scudder and Cynthia F. Jones (Jividen).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Scott (Scudder) of Vevay, IN; his children, Connie Christman (David) of Vevay, IN and Michael Scott of Vevay, IN; his son-in-law Timothy Hoyt of Atwater, CA; his grandchildren, Jessica Hoyt (Joshua Danel) of Merced, CA, Michala Hoyt (Christopher) of Merced, CA and McKenzie Hoyt (Danny Hernandez) of Merced, CA; and his sister-in-law Betty Scott of Merced, CA.. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
