We announce the death of Richard Dewayne Daugherty of Vevay, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 63. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Carol Daugherty (Mockbee); his grandparents, Marion O. Mockbee and Florence Elizabeth Mockbee Mangold (Ampt); his stepgrandfather Delmar M. Mangold; and his grandparents, Robert Lloyd Daugherty and Alta Ruth "Boots" Daugherty (Baker).

He is survived by: his father Rev. Lloyd Wayne Daugherty; his children, Laci Daugherty of Vevay, IN and Zack Daugherty of Vevay, IN; his wife Lynne of Vevay, IN; his brother Rob Daugherty (Kathy) of Vevay, IN; his nieces, Natalie Wheeler (Josh) of Vevay, IN and Jenna Kaylor (Jason) of Greenwood, IN; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison, Jackson, Bryce and Everly; his aunts, Betty Lou Mericle of Aurora, IN and Patricia Ann; and his uncle Robert Yelton of Orlando, FL.
