Rosa Marie (Miller) Christner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 80, Rosa Marie (Miller) Christner (Vevay, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel S. Miller and Lavina J. Miller (Lengacher); her husband Levi C. Christner; her son James R. Christner; her granddaughters, Lori D. Schwartz, Anna L. Christner and Rosalynn R. Christner; and her siblings, Mariann Schwartz, Margaret Schwartz, Leah Wickey, Ora, Samuel and Jerome Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Girod (Levi) of Pleasant, IN, Paul Christner (Lizzie) of Owingsville, KY, Lavina Schwartz (Reuben) of Canaan, IN, Martin Christner (Mary) of Canaan, IN, Amy Schwartz (David) of Pleasant, IN, Mervin Christner of Versailles, IN, Jerry Christner (Emily) of Wichita, KS, Ines Schwartz (Elton) of Butlerville, IN, Laura Longmyer (Anthony) of Pueblo West, CO and Reuben Christner of Canaan, IN; and her siblings, James Miller of Allen County, IN, Daniel Miller (Emma) of Quincy, MI and Fannie Christner (Amos) of Delhi, IA. She is also survived by her several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Christner Residence (359 Brushy Fork Rd, Canaan, IN 47224). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
