He was predeceased by : his parents, Arnold Ellermann (Lucille Ellermann) and Lucille Ellermann; his wife Rita Ellermann; his brother Carl William Ellermann; and his granddaughter Elaina Ellermann Stoll.

He is survived by : his children, Rod Ellermann (Sherry) of Bridgeport, IL., Douglas Ellermann of Indianapolis, IN. and Lori Holscher (Patrick) of Decker, IN.; and his siblings, Walter Morris Ellermann (Nwyla) of Vincennes, IN., Dennis Wayne Ellermann (Barbara) of Vincennes, IN. and Mary Catherine "Kathy" Lane of Vincennes. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vincennes Funeral Home (524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribtions can be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or Vincennes Pet Port.
