Bert Taylor Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bert Taylor of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on November 13, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bert Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha Taylor and Gertrude Taylor (Wyant); his wife Thelma Helderman; his sisters, Rhoda Owens and Ada Cannon; and his son Mike Taylor.

He is survived by: his children, Patty James of Washington, IN, Sharon Bennett of Petersburg, IN, Karen Ellerman of Indianapolis, IN and Wesley Taylor (Penny) of Washington, IN; his sister Beverly McCoy of Monroe City, IN; and his grandchildren, Trudy Wessell (Chuck), Tiffany Williams (John Paul), Tracey Moffett, Shannon Pierce, Michelle Pierce, Elizabeth Taylor, Dana Taylor, Jody Claridge (Phil), Sondra Collins (Jason), Dannica Wehlage (Bryan), Wesley Taylor (Lindsay), Crystal McBride (Ross) and Amy Taylor. He is also survived by thirty four great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren.
