He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Smith and Kay Smith (Hendershot); his stepfather Burnell Davis; and his siblings, Alan Davis and Jeanette Swope.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Davis of Vincennes, Tyler Davis (Courtney) of Petersburg, Taylor Harvey (Ethan) of Monroe City and Briana Davis (Tye Carie) of Vincennes; and his siblings, Jeanette Johnson of Bruceville, Janie Vaughn of Vincennes, Tammy Davis of Vincennes, Bill Davis of Vincennes, Heath Smith of Riverton, WY, Robbin Smith of Riverton, Lynn Menchaco of Riverton, WY and Dean Smith. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren.
