She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Carter and Nina Carter (Charles Graham); her husband Franklyn Schroeder; her sisters, Nancy and Ina; her son-in-law John Wilson; her grandson Justin Fane; and her stepson Chuck Graham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cassandra Carson (Jeff), Charity Frey (Norman Schwartz), Kimberly Fane (Jim) and Lynnette Klein (Bill). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations in Carol's name to either a Breast Cancer or Autism charity of your choice.
