He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Phillips and Stella Phillips (Goins); and his siblings, David, Ves, Ralph, John Phillips, Mary Gould and Garnet Malone. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
