He is survived by: his wife Renee Darkis (McCammon); his daughter Margie Phegley; his grandchildren, Charlie Gluck (Andrew), Andrea Perry (Matt) and Magan Darkis; and his great grandchildren, David Tislow, Elizabeth, Joseph and James Gluck.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
