He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Howder and Mary Ann Howder; his siblings, Hubert J. Howder and Sandy Heath (Steve); and his brother-in-law William Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Howder; his children, Dr. Joshua Howder (Seelye Parker) and Shannon Howder; his grandchildren, Benjamin Howder, William Howder, Brylinn Howder and Elizabeth Howder; his great grandchildren, Xamari Howder and Waylin McCrary; his siblings, Gloria Howder, Teresa Merydith and Brian Cullop; and his siblings-in-law, Sondra Howder, Steve Codgill (Rose), Mack Wirth, Melissa Johnson and Doug Wirth (Carole). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
