She was predeceased by: her parent Golda Alice Black; her husband Kenneth Wayne Strate; her siblings, Jean Boyles, Bob Black and Jack Black; and her father Robert "Paul" Black.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Marchino (Mark) of Newburgh, Indiana and Eric Mason (Angela Bertram) of Mitchell, Indiana; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Helm (James), Austin Marchino, Cole Mason and Logan Mason; her great grandchild Caroline Joy Helm; her stepdaughter Janet Lovell (Wayne); her stepgranddaughter Laura Buchanan (Neal); and her stepgreat-granddaughter Lily Grace Buchanan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincennes Free Methodist Church.
