She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hooks and Aletha Hooks (VanVleet); her son Brian Downen; and her grandchildren, Samantha Harmon and Sam Downen.
She is survived by: her husband Victor Downen of Vincennes; her daughter Vicki Hicks (Ron) of Staunton, VA; her brother Doug Hooks (Kathy) of Vincennes; and her grandchildren, Peyton Hicks, Carver Hicks, Kristen Jones, Jeremy Hollis and J. D. Hollis. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
