She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Fitch and Ina Fitch (Allison); her son Richard Longbons; and her siblings, Warren, Gene, Leland, James, Darrell and Vera Burgin.
She is survived by: her husband George Ray of Vincennes, IN; her children, Greg Longbons of Olney, Kathy Wilson of Parkersburg, IL and Tracy George of Vincennes, IN; her stepdaughters, Anita Brown of Pinkstaff, IL and Michelle Medina of Pinkstaff, IL; and her adoptive son Philip Ray of Clay City. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
