She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne L. Bumgarner and Mary A. Thomas Bumgarner; her husband Harold J. Nowaskie; her great grandchild Candice Cary; and her sister Mary E. "Betty" Bayne.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jarrod Bahr, Marcia Crapo, Trish Bahr, Curtis Bahr, Nick Trabant, Elizabeth Trabant, Daniel Trabant, Audra Bezy, Jeff Wonning, Alan Wonning, Joshua Cummins, Tony Cummins, Victoria Crabtree, Mitchell Nowaskie, Dylan Brown and Breanna Brown; and her siblings, Tony Bumgarner of Chicago, IL and Nancy Knoblett (Don) of Palestine, IL.. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Mary of the Woods College.
