She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Pancake and Judith Pancake (Johnson); her stepfather Robert Bateman; and her son-in-law Edward Trella. She is survived by: her husband Loyace Lamar; her children, Valerie Searls (Chad), Audrey Hunt (Greg) and Jonathan Lamar (Eve); her grandchildren, Julene Moore (Larry), David Trella (Grace Willis), Josiah Searls, Nicholas Trella, Jace Searls, Corbin and Dean Lamar; her great grandchild Oakleigh Willis; and her brother Steven Pancake (Anita). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Petersburg Holiness Church (5317 N Knox Rd, Petersburg, IN 47567).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Riley Children's Hospital.
