The memory of Will Prather of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Will departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Will may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Will leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie B. Prather and Ruby Mae Prather; and his sister Jeannie Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Mae Prather; his children, Trent Prather and Kellie Sloan; and his siblings, Gary Prather and Kathy Sibenthal.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincennes Funeral Home (524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
