He is survived by: his wife Judith "Lynn" Hinkle of Monroe City; his sons, CJ Carie (Melinda), Anthony Carie (Nichole) and Gabriel Carie (Candice); his niece Pat Carnahan (Dennis); his grandchildren, William Carie, Eli Carie, Lauren Carie, Gretchen Carie, Grace Carie, Nora Lynn Carie, Anthony Gonterman, Jasmine Gonterman and Brooklyn Walburn; his brother Paul Carie (Robbie); his nieces and nephews, Brian Bilskie (Camilla), Mark Carie, Randy Carie (Becky), Sandy DeBusseriet (Henry), Debbie Swain (Jim), Linda Lane (Eric) and Dana Carie; his great-nephews, John Carnahan (Ashley) and Ben Carnahan (Kierstin); and his sister-in-law Mary Bratton. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
