He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Yocum and Opal Mae Yocum (Higgley); his grandson Joshua Krom; his great grandchildren, Beckett and Gabriel Azbell; and his siblings, Chuck Yocum, Ralph L. "Jake" Yocum and Wilma Bever.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Yocum of Wabash; his daughters, Cheri Slee (Jeff) of Roann, Tracy Azbell (Scott) of Wabash, Roberta Miller (Steve) of Urbana and Carla Krom (Ken) of Liberty, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Michael Slee (Kacy), Kelli Penrod (Wesley), Bryan Azbell (Amanda), Houston Miller (Alicia), Wyatt Krom (Alisha), Heath Miller (Brittany), Cassidy Redd (Codey), Haylie Miller and Morgan Krom (Ella). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
