He is survived by: his wife Jill Brooks of Wabash; his sons, Bryan "Scott" Brooks of Warsaw and Jason Brooks (Shawna) of Greenwood, Indiana; his granddaughter Kennedie Brooks of Rochester, Indiana; his granddaughter-in-law Lily Reeves of Pierceton, Indiana; his great grandchild Charleigh Grace Brooks of Pierceton; and his nieces and nephews, Cathy Townsend of Wabash, Heather Case of Muncie, Chelsea Templin (Travis) of Muncie, Seth Hamilton (Jean-Marie) of McCordsville and Lonnie Townsend (Gretta) of North Manchester, Indiana.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
