He was predeceased by: his parents, Olsene Albert and Louella Fern Curtis (Sullivan); his wife Elaine Diane Driscoll; his sister Judy; his brothers-in-law, Guy Smith, Gary Poole and Dave Barrows; and his nephew Kim Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Cara Smith (Matt) of Wabash, Ryan Curtis (Jama) of Fort Wayne and Gina Hierlmeier (Grant) of Plymouth, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bailey Smith of Muncie, Jeffrey Curtis of Fort Wayne, Olivia Curtis of Covington, Derrick Smith of Wabash and Andie Hierlmeier of Plymouth; his great grandchildren, Reid and Lydia; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Poole, JoAnn Barrows and Tammy Driscoll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (225 W Main St, Wabash, IN 46992).
