With sadness, we share the passing of Marilyn Jane Boardman of Wabash, Indiana. Marilyn Jane, born on October 27, 1936, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack William and Arbutus Mattern (Williams); her son-in-law Rod Frank; her granddaughter-in-law Tiffany Frank; and her brother Ramon Mattern.
She is survived by: her husband John B. Boardman of Wabash; her daughters, Christi Schmidt (Rick) of Stillwater and Renee Frank of Wabash; her grandchildren, Robert "Rob" Working (Kaitlyn) of Lagro, Andrew Working of Marysville, Abigail Rhoads (Josh) of Indianapolis and Bradley Frank (Kayla) of Wabash; and her siblings, Jon Mattern (Shirley) of Marion, Janet Johnson of Marion and Steven Mattern (Judith) of Ocala, Florida.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manchester Avenue Chapel (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992).
