He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Dean and Velma Jean "Sally" Holderman (Schlemmer); and his brother Mark Holderman Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Deané Smith; his children, Joseph Holderman (Julie), Kate Denham (Greg), Claire Clark (Chad) and Matt Holderman; his grandchildren, Jack, Evelyn, Josie, Ella, Anna, Joel, Caleb, Naomi, Cas and Charleigh; and his sisters, Pamela Simons (Doug) and Lucinda "Cindy" Holderman (Billy Wicker).
