He is survived by: his wife Carmelita Chalfant of Wabash; his children, Robert "Greg" Chalfant (Rebecca) of Wabash and Valisa "Lisa" Hashbarger (Jeff) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Robby Hashbarger of Wabash, Ryan Castle of Wabash, Riley Chalfant (Alyssa) of Wabash and Jasmine Chalfant of Wabash; his great grandchildren, Cole, Morgan, James, Kaitlyn and Isaac; and his sisters, Winona Trusty (Troy) of Wabash, Arvella Martin (Dean) of Fort Meade and Dorlene Meade (Tom) of Paintsville, Kentucky..
