He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur Cornwell and Katheryn Mary Offutt (Russell); his wife Frances Lucille Cornwell; and his brother Col. Michael Cornwell. He is survived by: his children, Marcia Neff (Steve) of Walnut Creek and Michael Cornwell (Loretta) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Erin Baginski (Bill) of Akron, Daniel Neff (Larry Price) of Madison, Joseph Neff (Asami Novak) of San Diego and Benjamin Neff of Oakland, California; and his great grandchildren, Nico and Remy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Joseph Indian School, PO Box 100, Chamberlain, South Dakota 57325-9919.
