He was predeceased by : his parents, John Taylor and Mallie Taylor (Sloane). He is survived by : his children, Gwen Taylor of Wabash, Beverly Elshire (Denny) of Wabash, Robert L. Taylor of Wabash and David Taylor (Jeni) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Robert Grove, Nicholas Grove (Cassie), Jackson Taylor, Jamin Taylor, Lynae Taylor, John Robert Taylor and Aiden Lee Taylor; his great grandchildren, Lindsey Grove and Henry Grove; his close friend Barbara VanHoose of Wabash; his stepchildren, Jennifer Simpson (Rick) of Wabash, Jeff VanHoose of Peru, Tim VanHoose (Bobbi) of Wabash and Chris VanHoose (Shelly) of Wabash; his sister Wanda Spurgeon of Pontiac, Michigan; and his pet Maggie May. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
