We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2026, at the age of 87, Ronald E. Daymude (Wabash, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Daymude and Helen May Daymude (Horacek); and his sister JoAnne Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carpenter; his children, Sherry Rarey of Hartford City, Katherine Shields (Paul) of Virginia Beach, Ronald "Chris" Daymude (Charlene) of Carmel, Matthew Carpenter (Corey) of Huntington and Travis Carpenter (Carrie) of Wabash; his grandchildren, Nathan Graham, Khrystyna Golden, Jasmine Graham, Jennifer Graham, Madison Graham, Melany Sherrill (Tom), Megan Gothrup (Jason), Zachary Rarey (Stephanie), Nicholas Rarey (Maria), Spencer Daymude, Cheyanne Carpenter, McKinley Carpenter, Avery Carpenter, Josie Evans (Layne), Abby Monroe (Gareth) and Isabelle Carpenter; and his brother William "Bill" Daymude (Becky) of Linton. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
