She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Kirby and Mildred Kirby (Isenbarger); her sister Betty Van Hoosier (James); and her sibling's children, John D. Van Hoosier, Jim Van Hoosier and Linda Holsinger.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Paul Young; her sibling's children, Robert Van Hoosier (Elizabeth), Victor Van Hoosier (Debby), Cindy Horner (Calvin), Brenda Geiken (Derek) and Donna Van Hoosier (Greg); and her siblings-in-law, Kitty Young (Bert), Loretta Young, Theresa Strefling, Patty Koval (John) and Michael Young (Mary). She is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Salvation Army (359 N Bradner Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the S. Young's Funeral Service (359 N Bradner Ave, Marion, IN 46952).
