He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann McBrayer of Wabash; his children, Jennifer Madden (Phillip) of Olive Hill, Stephen McBrayer of Olive Hill, Byron McBrayer of Morehead, Bret Nealis (Ellen) of Cincinnati, Kent Nealis of Michigan, Erron Nealis (LeighAnn) of Wabash, Darci Boggs (Trent) of Wabash and David Brown (Tonya) of Wabash; and his brother John McBrayer (Linda) of Kentucky. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
