He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ann Coburn; his son Sullivan Coburn; his stepfather Ron McGuire; his stepson Austin Dosch; his mother-in-law Margaret Schulze; and his grandson Brian Banks.

He is survived by: his close friend Luciana "Shana" Stepro; his children, Michael Ray Coburn, Jr. (Ashley) and Misty Poole (Tommy); his stepchildren, Gabriel Rice, Dezmann Rice, Honesty Eaton and Sharell Eaton; and his brother Johnny Hammore. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
