Mormrose Swazay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mormrose Swazay of Waldron, Indiana, who passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude L. Alvey and Lois E. Alvey (Higdon); her husband Marshall D. Swazay Sr.; her brothers, Kenneth Alvey, Jr., Thomas Alvey, Donald Alvey and Richard Alvey; her granddaughter Nicole Barnes; and her son-in-law Frederick Klein III.
She is survived by: her children, Marshall Jr. of Shelbyville, Peggy Stephens (Gary) of Shelbyville, Dianna Klein of Waldron, Karen Barnes of Greensburg and Kimberly Swazay of Waldron; and her sisters, Audrey Long of Needham, Gerline Merrick of Shelbyville and Marilyn Pierce of Shelbyville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
